The Federal Republic of Nigeria is deeply saddened by the tragic news of the fatal landslide in the south of Ethiopia that led to the loss of over 200 lives on the 21st and 22nd of July, 2024, following heavy rains.
Nigeria stands with the people of Ethiopia at this difficult time and extends sincere condolences to the families of the casualties.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
