Reps Member, Olaifa Jimoh Aremu (OJA) Bags Integrity Icon Award.

Consummate politician and member of Federal House of Representatives, Hon Olaifa Jimoh Aremu popularly called OJA has added another feather to his cap.
The Ayetoro born lawmaker representing the people of Egbado North / Imeko Afon Federal Constituency of Ogun State bagged the award of Integrity Icon of Nigeria (IION) from the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation, CESVO last Thursday July 15, 2021 in Abuja.
This was contained in a statement signed by Wale Junaid(WJ), Senior Legislative Aide to Hon. Olaifa Jimoh Aremu (OJA) on Sunday and made available to Outlook media in Abuja, The statement said ,”He was honoured for his outstanding innovative and creative representative leadership to his constituents.
Ethicist (Prince) Salih Musa Yakubu, the Executive Director/CEO of the centre while making his presentation before handing over the award to Hon. Olaifa said among other things that despite being a first-time member of the parliament, Hon. Olaifa has shown capacity in leadership of our Country.
He said further, “You have done a lot for your people; you have changed the narrative of representative leadership in Ogun State and your Constituency that was twice rated the poorest representation before you came onboard”.
Our whistle blowers visited your state and submitted an impressive report about your performances which rated you amongst the top 3 Reps from your state that scaled through our leadership integrity test and qualified to be enlisted amongst top 100 highly rated most ethically responsible Reps. You scored 77 to ranked 2nd from your state, 10th in South – West Zone and 26th amongst the top 100 that met our ethical standard in 10 thematic areas”.
“You have instilled fiscal discipline and accountable leadership since your coming onboard and despite the paucity of funds and pockets of attack on your personality, you remain strong and committed to the course of your people and massively reducing poverty and contributing to reducing hunger and diseases via strategic empowerment programmes for your people”.
“We pray that you never derail in your quest to do more for your own people despite some pockets of opposition against your leadership. You have written your name bold in our history book as one who has shown enough capacity in leadership of our Country”.
In his remarks, Hon Olaifa expressed his profound gratitude to the Centre for the undercover assessment of his performance, projects and programmes both executed and ongoing in his Federal Constituency, and his business unusual to representation and politics.
He assured to do more as many more goodies are in the pipeline for his Constituents.
