NEW DAWN IN NASI AS GENERAL ALI TAKES OVER COMMAND.
Major General Gadzama Ali has taken over the command of Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI) as the 40th Commandant.
He took over today Wednesday 14th July 2021 at the School headquarters in Jaji Military Cantonment, Kaduna.
He took over from Major General Kabir Mukhtar who is proceeding to Army Headquarters Department of Army Administration (DOAA) as the Chief of Administration (Army).
In his remarks, the Outgoing Commandant Major General Kabir Mukhtar thanked the officers and soldiers of the school for their support and dedication to duty. He urged them to help the Incoming Commandant to settle down and start from where he stopped. He charged them to be good ambassadors of NASI.
The Incoming Commandant Major General Gadzama Ali also in his remarks said that”this is coming home.” He recalled when he was in the Tactics wing as a young Captain and how they were teaching Majors and Lieutenant Colonels without fear. He congratulated the officers for being in their corps school and promised that together they would move the School forward.
Highlights of the event were presentation of Plaque to the Outing Commandant, the signing of Handing and Taking Over Notes and presentation of Command flag.
