COMAN Honours Buratai With Award Of Excellence.

Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai has been honoured with an Award of Excellence by the Coalition of Online Media Association of Nigeria (COMAN) for satisfactorily stepping up the country’s security strategy against the rising turmoil and insurgency bedeviling the peace of the nation.
The magnitude of pandemonium and other related violent agitations demeaning Nigeria’s sovereign powers has been recently overpowered by men of the Nigerian Army oweing to the modern warfare skills adopted in recent time as the country can not afford to risk the lives and properties of its citizens despite the expertise of the Awardee.
The rare-wealth Award resounds the laudable effort of the Military as an appraisal of the commitment put to work by the COMAN Awardee to reposition the security apparatus of the country.
More so, the level of training and retraining of its personnel has now proven versatile to winding down the spate of Boko Haramism and other guerilla wars facing the Islamic States of West African Province in the country.
Receiving the award on his behalf, the Director, Civil Military Affairs, Brigadier General Aminu Goni said Nigerians deserve the right to security and peaceful coexistence devoid of threats to lives.
Goni further announced the readiness of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai to partner with COMAN for the overall interest of the country and possibly check the infiltration of nonchalant elements determined to soil the reputation of the Nigerian Army.
According to Co -Chairman of COMAN, Fred Idehai, the Coalition of Online Media Association of Nigeria is not unaware of the Chief of Army Staff’s unrelated effort to stem the tide of insecurity in the North Eastern part of the country innovation-wise.
Idehai maintained that the Awardee’s nomination is timely and well-deserved to encourage the Army Chief to do more to restore the peace and tranquility to the country.
