Director General Felicitates With Youth Minister, Ayodele Olawande

The Director General of National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General YD Ahmed, has felicitated with the Minister of Youth Development, Mr Ayodele Olawande on his elevation to the position of substantive Minister.

Ayodele Olawande was previously the Minister of State in the same Ministry.

A statement signed by Caroline Embu Acting Director Information and Public Relations said Olawande’s elevation, which came 14 months after his appointment as Minister of State, is a testament to his hardwork and dedication to the programmes geared towards the advancement of Nigerian youths.

Olawande’s contributions to the cause of NYSC in particular, attests to this.

General Ahmed has no doubt that the cordial working relationship between the Scheme and the Minister will subsist, for the good of the NYSC and Nigeria at large.

The Director General pledges his loyalty and support, while wishing the Minister a successful tenure of office.
