Gov. Abiodun Presents Certificate Of Occupancy For 100 Hectares Of Land To The Chief Of The Naval Staff.

Ogun state Governor Prince Adedapo Oluseun Abiodun have presented certificate of occupancy (C Of C) for 100 hectares of land for the purpose of base establishment and Dockyard to the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla on Friday 9th August 2024 in Abuja.
During a brief ceremony ,the governor congratulated CNS on his remarkable achievements to the Nigerian Navy .
Governor Abiodun revealed that, the Ogun state Government have allocated 100 hectares of land for the construction of a Naval Dockyard and Naval Base for the protection of the industrial image of the state.
During the presentation of the C of O, He noted that ,because Ogun is an
industrial state, the presence of Naval Armed forces is necessary to boost the confidence of local and foreign investors.
“We are the gateway state to Nigeria by geography and by providence, because of our location, we are also the industrial capital of Nigeria, He Stressed.
“Today, Ogun State is ranked as one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria and I must thank our law enforcement agencies who have made that possible.
We will continue to give them the required support that they need, He said.
In the same Vein, The Chief of Naval Staff, Ogalla in his remarks, praised the governor for his proposal which will enhance the economic growth of ogun state.
“As part of our role, it is our duty to ensure that we fulfil this aspect which is provision of security in order for investors to have confidence investing in this area, CNS said.
“These are investments that will attract a minimum of 10 billion dollars to the Nigerian economy, CNS Ogalla said.
“The governor proposed Olokola LNG and Olokola sea port and also the Declaration of Tongeji Island as a free exploration zone,Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla disclosed.
