CNS Visits Naval Base Lake Chad, Commends Personnel On Professionalism

The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo has commended Nigerian Navy personnel deployed to Naval Base Lake Chad (NBLC) in Borno State for their service and unalloyed loyalty to the Nation. He gave the commendation when he recently paid an operational visit to the Base.

Vice Admiral Gambo equally charged them to continue to discharge their duties in a professional manner, promising to reward those who distinguished themselves in the line of duty. Additionally, the CNS assured them of his resolve to properly address the challenges facing the Base, S Dahun ,Commodore noted.

Earlier, the CNS was briefed on the activities of the Base by the Commander NBLC, Commodore Alexander Bingel. At the visit with the CNS was the Chief of Training and Operations, Rear Admiral Abraham Adaji and other senior officers from the Naval Headquarters Abuja.
