IMEKO KILLING INDICATES AN OVERWHELMED SECURITY OPERATIONS HON. OLAIFA JIMOH AREMU (OJA).
After several alarms and condemnation of incessant killings of his Constituents from either Egbado North or Imeko Afon Local Government and yet, another set of casualties were recorded on Sunday evening where three persons (Femi Bara, John Taiwo, and Tunde Taiwo) were killed in Imeko with the motorcycle, they rode on, taken away; Hon Olaifa Jimoh Aremu (OJA) representing Egbado North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency is miffed and has concluded that indeed, the latest killing is a clear indication of the Security operation being overwhelmed.
In his reaction over the conflicting source of the attack, Hon. Olaifa is of the opinion that whether it was by the usual Fulani killer – Herdsmen or armed robbers, the undisputable fact is that another set of lives were lost and that our people and their property are just not safe because there seems to be a total collapse of the entire security architecture.
Hon. Olaifa therefore calls on the security agencies to come out clear as to their perceived incapacitation and what could be done to assist them in securing the lives of our people in porous border areas of Yewa North and Imeko Afon Local Government Areas of Ogun State.
The visibly worried lawmaker concluded with an heartfelt sympathy and condolence message to the families of the deceased and the entire good people of Imeko Afon. He prayed for the repose of the souls of the innocent ones.
Signed:
HON. OLAIFA JIMOH AREMU (OJA)
