FRC Seeks Partnership With Ministry Of Education.

Chairman, Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Barrister Victor Muruako seeks partnership with the Ministry of Education create awareness of Fiscal Responsibility initiatives to tertiary Institutions.


Barrister Muruako made this known during a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of State Education, Honourable Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba in his office.this was contained in a statement signed by Bede Ogueri Anyanwu, Head, Strategic Communications Directorate on Thursday in Abuja.


In his address, the FRC Boss described the initiative as a situation where there is supposed to be intellectual exercise.
He further narrated that survey of National Youth Service Corp members and selected lecturers showed almost lack of knowledge of the initiative which is obviously not in the curriculum of the tertiary tions.


In another development, Barrister Muruako said, another purpose of this visit is to openly congratulate he Honourable Minister for his Ministry’s successful handling of the twin challenges from hell which confronted the education sector in 2020: ASUU strike and COVID 19 pandemic.

It is clear that if it were not for specially endowed people like him and the Honorable Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, the Higher Education sector could have crumbled in 2020.

He commended the due for such understanding effort.
Barrister Muruako also applauded him particularly enamored by the good and exemplary working relationship between him and the Honourable Minister of Education as well the unparalleled dedication of both of them to the success of our dear President, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari GCFR.

He expressed his optimism that the prayers of the countrymen and the deep dedication of people like him will bring the nation and its education sector to sustained success.


While receiving the delegates from Commission, the Honourable Minister for state Education, Honourable Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba expressed his happiness on the work the Commission has been doing.

He requested that the Commission should come up with a template that will enable the two sister Organisations to collaborate for the purpose creating awareness on Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2007 within the Education sector
